What is Intraoral Technology?

Drs. Pollowitz and Brown utilize intraoral camera technology that helps enhance the clarity of a diagnosis. An intraoral camera is a tiny camera, a few millimeters long,  that allows the dentist to view clear, precise images of your mouth, teeth, and gums. This allows the dentist to accurately make a diagnosis. With clear, defined, enlarged images, they are able to see details that may be missed by standard mirror examinations. This often means faster and more accurate diagnosis with less chair-time for patients.

Intraoral cameras also enable our practice to save your images on our office computer to provide a permanent record of treatments. These treatments can be printed as for you, other specialists, and your lab or insurance companies.
